We work with government, industry and other stakeholders to promote quality, innovation and diversity in Australian post-secondary education and training.

The Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA) regulates and assures the quality of Australia鈥檚 large, diverse and complex higher education sector. The higher education sector in total employs over 107,000 people in Australia and in 2009 had close to $19.9 billion in total revenue. The Australian higher education system comprises both public and private universities, Australian branches of overseas universities, and other higher education providers with and without self-accrediting authority. English Australia represents Quality, Support and Assurance for over 120 member colleges and training providers throughout Australia that deliver quality English Language programs to students and professionals from around the world. Over 80% of International Students learning English in Australia choose to study with an English Australia member college.
